We're excited you're interested in joining Trainiac by Wellhub, our platform for 1-on-1 fitness and wellness coaching. This guide explains the requirements, the application process, and how payments work.
What you'll need to apply
Before you begin, please ensure you have the following ready:
- A valid certification: You must hold a current certification from ACE, NSCA, ACSM, or NASM.
- A unique email address: To prevent technical issues, you must use a different email address for your Trainiac coach account than any email you use for a personal Wellhub member account.
Our application process is a simple, three-step journey:
Step 1: Submit your interest
Go to our Trainiac by Wellhub application page to submit your information and certification details.
Step 2: Application review
Our team will review your submission to ensure you meet all qualifications. This process can take several business days.
Step 3: Receive your onboarding invitation
If your application is approved, you will receive an email with your contract and an invitation to set up your account on the Trainiac trainer app.
As a Trainiac coach, you are an independent contractor. Your compensation is based on a commission split tied to the number of clients you have and how long you retain them.
- Your commission rate increases the longer you retain a client.
- Payments for the current month are sent on the 15th of the following month.
- You can track a summary of your payout information at any time in the Trainiac app under the Stats tab.
