When your gym or studio changes ownership, the Wellhub partnership must be formally transferred to the new legal entity.
Before you start
A transfer of ownership is treated as a brand new partnership. Our team will create a new contract and a new Partner Portal account for the new owner. The new owner must be the one to initiate this process.
How to start the transfer process
The process is handled by our internal team and is similar to a new partner registration.
Step 1: The new owner contacts our support team
To begin, the new legal owner must contact our support team. To make the process as fast as possible, they should be ready to provide:
- The Partner ID of the gym being transferred.
- The new owner's full name and contact email address.
- The new business Tax ID.
Step 2: A sales representative will guide them
Once the initial contact is made, the request will be forwarded to our specialist team. A representative will contact the new owner via email (typically within 7 business days) to guide them through the full registration process, which includes collecting all necessary legal and financial documentation.
Step 3: Onboarding and going live
Once the new contract is signed, the new owner will receive a welcome email and will be guided through setting up their new profile and bank account in the Partner Portal.
Once the new partnership is fully active, our team will handle the process of deactivating the old owner's account to ensure a clean transition.
