Only the Primary Account Holder can cancel a plan. Please note that plans that are paused or have a scheduled change can’t be canceled.
📌 If you are a Family Member, the Primary Account Holder on your account will need to cancel your plan for you.
Important
- Do you have a monthly plan? Cancel your monthly plan 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid charges and automatic plan renewal.
- Do you have an annual plan? Your plan includes a 12-month commitment, and charges will continue normally until then. If you don't want to continue your subscription, cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal date — your cancellation will be scheduled for the end of the commitment period.
Find out your plan's renewal date in the section: Manage Account > Payments > Payment History.
To cancel the Primary Account Holder's plan:
- In the Wellhub app, go to Profile Settings Account.
- Under Subscription, tap Manage subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.
To cancel a Family Member's plan:
- In the Wellhub app, go to Profile Settings Family Members.
- Find the family member, tap the 3 dots, and select Manage Subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.
- General Rule: Each subscription is managed separately. Canceling the Primary Account Holder's plan does not automatically cancel any family member plans.
- Payment Responsibility: Even after canceling your own plan, as the Primary Account Holder, you are still responsible for managing the shared payment method for any active family members.
- ⚠️ Important Exception: If a Primary Account Holder is using Wellhub after leaving their company, canceling their own plan will also cancel all associated family member plans.
The outcome of your cancellation request depends on your subscription type:
- For Monthly Subscriptions: The cancellation is scheduled for the end of your current billing period. You can continue to use your plan until that date.
- For Annual Subscriptions: The cancellation is scheduled for the end of your 12-month commitment period. You will continue to have access and be billed monthly until your commitment ends.
For any new subscription (Monthly or Annual), you have a 7-day cancellation right from the plan's activation date to request a cancellation and refund, as long as you haven't made any check-ins during this period or used a free trial.
💡 This rule only applies to your first subscription. Automatic renewals, plan changes, or plan reactivations are not eligible for a refund.
💡 Do you use Flexible Benefits? It's important to know that canceling your Wellhub plan doesn't automatically stop the credit allocation from your company. Learn more about how Flexible Benefits work.
