To simplify billing and make managing your family's plans easier, all family member subscriptions are charged to a single payment method. In the app, this card is marked as default.
The card marked as default pays for all family accounts. However, the Primary Account Holder's subscription is a special case:
- If the Primary Account Holder pays via Payroll Deduction, it will only be used for their own plan. The family members will be grouped on the separate, single family payment method.
- If the Primary Account Holder pays with a method like a credit/debit card or Apple Pay for their own plan, that same method will be used for everyone—the primary account holder’s plan and all the family members' plans.
If family members currently use different payment methods, that setup will continue to work as is.
However, the next time the primary account holder adds a new family member or upgrades a plan, they will be prompted to consolidate all family charges onto a default single payment method.
A Backup Payment Method is an optional second card. If the charge on the default card ever fails, we will automatically try the backup. This ensures your family's access to Wellhub is never interrupted.
No. Each family member's subscription will continue to be billed on its original billing date.
