Your subscription payment may be declined due to insufficient funds or an error with your card issuer.
Tip
To ensure your family's access is never interrupted, you can add a backup payment method. If a payment on your family's default payment method fails, we'll automatically try the backup.
To prevent payment declines, follow these tips:
- Available credit and balance: Make sure your credit card has enough available credit or your bank account has sufficient funds. If not, the charge won't go through.
- Paycheck deduction: The backup payment method feature can’t be used for subscriptions paid via paycheck. If this payment method is no longer available, you’ll need to add a new primary payment method to keep your plan active.
- Issues with the card issuer: If you have enough credit or funds and the charge is still not approved, contact your card issuer to identify the problem.
- Virtual cards: Avoid using temporary virtual cards to ensure your recurring plan payments go through smoothly.
- Expired LMN: If you pay with an HSA or FSA card, you must keep your Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) valid. Backup Payment Methods cannot be used for HSA/FSA cards, so keeping your LMN up to date is the best way to prevent payment declines.
If you already have an active plan and your payment isn’t authorized on the billing date, make a payment now to avoid plan cancellation:
