If you're using an iPhone and are having trouble completing a verification step (like adding a phone number or changing your email), it may be due to a new privacy feature in the Safari browser.
This guide will help you solve the issue.
Recent versions of iOS include a feature called "Advanced Tracking and Fingerprint Protection" for Safari. This security feature can sometimes interfere with the verification codes needed to complete certain actions in your Wellhub account.
The simplest solution is to temporarily turn this feature off while you complete the verification. You can turn it back on immediately afterward.
How to turn off the setting:
- Open your iPhone's Settings app.
- Scroll down and tap on Safari.
- Scroll down to the Privacy & Security section and tap on Advanced.
- Tap on Advanced Tracking and Fingerprint Protection.
- Turn the switch Off.
Once you've done this, go back to the Wellhub app and try the verification step again. After you've successfully completed the action, you can follow the same steps to turn the protection back on.
Tip
This protection is always active in Private Browsing mode, so these verification steps may not work in a private tab. We recommend always using a standard, non-private tab for the best experience.
